REDDCON 2025 Conference Recap
The 2025 REDDCON Conference brought together artists, entrepreneurs, innovators, and community partners for a full weekend of programming centered on Detroit’s creative economy. Across panels, workshops, installations, and marketplace experiences, attendees engaged deeply with new ideas, practical tools, and emerging opportunities in art, design, and cultural entrepreneurship.
This year’s conference highlighted the importance of building sustainable creative ecosystems and creating pathways for artists to thrive financially and professionally. From conversations on innovation to hands-on demonstrations, REDDCON provided space for connection, learning, and exploration.
Artist Market Coordination
As part of this year’s conference, I curated and coordinated the REDDCON Artist Market. The goal of the market was to create a welcoming, accessible space for Detroit-based artists and makers to share their work, build visibility, and connect with collectors and community members.
My role included vendor selection, communication, marketing support, layout design, onsite coordination, and overall creative direction of the marketplace experience. The market featured a range of mediums and artistic voices, offering attendees a glimpse into Detroit’s vibrant independent arts landscape.
